Meet Albert...

Albert Pronin, founder of Prowellness, is a highly qualified integrative health practitioner with over 30 years of experience across clinical medicine and holistic therapy.

Trained in conventional medicine and later specialising in traditional chinese medicine, rehabilitation, therapeutic massage, and acupuncture, Albert brings a uniquely balanced approach to wellbeing.

He currently represents the UK as an international judge in holistic therapy competitions and delivers personalised treatments, workshops, and talks designed to restore energy, reduce stress, and promote long-term health.

Got a Question For Albert?

What makes your treatments different from a standard massage or spa therapy?

My approach combines a strong foundation in clinical medicine with advanced training in holistic therapies such as acupuncture, kinetic therapy, and medical massage. Each treatment is highly tailored, with the goal not just of relaxation but of addressing root causes of tension, stress, and imbalance.

How do these treatments support mental health as well as physical wellbeing?

The body and mind are deeply connected. By releasing muscular tension, improving posture, balancing energy systems, and calming the nervous system, treatments can ease stress, reduce anxiety, improve focus, and restore a sense of clarity and calm.

Are the treatments painful or uncomfortable?

Some techniques, such as deep tissue massage or acupuncture, may create momentary discomfort as tension is released. However, treatments are always adapted to your comfort level, with a focus on leaving you relaxed, restored, and energised.

What results can I expect after a session?

Many clients feel immediate benefits such as reduced tension, lighter movement, mental clarity, and improved sleep. Some changes are subtle and continue to build over time, especially when combined with workshops and one-to-one sessions during the retreat.

How do you decide which treatment is right for me?

Before each session, we’ll have a short consultation to understand your needs, concerns, and goals. From there, I may recommend a specific therapy — or combine several methods in my Signature Integrative Method — to ensure the best results for your body and mind.

Do the treatments require any preparation or aftercare?

No special preparation is needed. After your session, I may suggest simple steps such as light stretching, hydration, or rest to help your body integrate the benefits. Each treatment is designed to support both immediate wellbeing and long-term resilience.

Her trauma-informed approach is rooted in compassion, safety, and spiritual insight, creating the space for people facing trauma, anxiety, stress, or emotional overwhelm to release what no longer serves them and step fully into who they truly are.

Got a Question For Trish?

What is parts and shadow work?

Parts and shadow work is a therapeutic process that helps you meet the hidden or dissociated parts of yourself that formed in response to past experiences. These parts, often inner children, teens, or fragmented adult selves, developed coping strategies that may no longer serve you. In sessions, we compassionately uncover these parts, listen to their needs, and integrate them so you can live with more wholeness, clarity, and freedom.

How do I know if this is right for me?

If you find yourself repeating patterns, feeling stuck, sabotaging your goals, or carrying heavy emotions such as shame, guilt, or anger, this work will help. It’s for people who sense that old wounds or unhealed experiences are quietly running the show, and who are ready to face them with support.

What happens in a session?

Each session is guided, intuitive, and tailored to you. We’ll use dialogue, embodiment, visualisation, and gentle inquiry to bring hidden parts of yourself into awareness. You’ll be supported to process emotions safely and begin reintegrating those parts into your adult self. Every session ends with grounding practices so you leave feeling contained and supported.

Do I need to re-live my trauma?

No. I don't guide you to re-live painful experiences. Instead, I gently connect with the parts of you that carry the memory, emotion beliefs and behaviour that no longer serves you. The focus is on healing, understanding, and integrating, not re-traumatising.

How many sessions will I need?

Every person is different. Some people feel a big shift after just one or two sessions, while others benefit from ongoing work to explore multiple layers. We’ll discuss your needs together and you can choose the pace that feels right for you.

What makes this different from traditional talking therapy?

This isn’t traditional talk therapy. It’s a deep, embodied process that draws on psychology, shadow work, trauma-informed practices, and guided self-discovery. Instead of just analysing your story, we work directly with the parts of you carrying old wounds and patterns. The work is always done at your pace, you’re fully in control, and the space is held with safety, respect, and zero judgement. Many men describe it as intense, liberating, and far more direct than anything they’ve tried before.
